Matthew grew up in the Chicagoland area, and attended Taylor University in Indiana where he studied Media Communication – Film Production. After graduating, Matthew moved to Los Angeles to work for Focus Features, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal. Matthew eventually moved to New York City where he continued to work for Focus Features within the Post Production department. In this role, Matthew helped oversee the editorial workflow of several feature films including the Oscar winning Dallas Buyers Club. Matthew continued his career in New York working for AMC Networks. At AMC, Matthew played a key role in the Media Management department, managing original programming content delivery for SundanceTV and IFC. Matthew also handled special event technical coordination for shows such as Mad Men and Fear the Walking Dead.
Matthew returned to Chicago in summer 2015 and is the latest addition to Taste Media Group. Matthew’s love for post production and background in media management and editorial workflow make him a great addition to the team.
